In 紫微 the six auspicious and six difficult stars are a modifier layer: they don't decide what a palace is about, they decide how it happens. That distinction matters, because most simplified accounts treat them as independent luck and end up reading a chart made entirely of adjectives.

左輔 and 右弼 are a pair, together 輔弼, the most orthodox helping stars in the system. 左輔 is the yang one, and the help it brings is above board: support that can be stated, a formal introduction, someone on your level willing to stand alongside.

It has a property that gets overlooked: 輔弼 are strongest in pairs. One alone is far weaker than both in a palace or facing each other. Which says what help actually is — a network, and a network needs more than one point to be one.
