In the imperial metaphor Tian Fu is the storehouse and the chancellor — keeping and governing. It's the other emperor star besides Zi Wei, pointing the opposite way: Zi Wei originates and sets the tone, Tian Fu keeps and accumulates. The system seats them opposite each other, which is its way of saying the two abilities are the same coin.

It shows up in you like this: you're good at keeping and growing what exists rather than producing from nothing; you don't take many risks, and your caution usually has a reason behind it; and people hand you important things to keep, secrets included.

Running well, Tian Fu is what stops things leaking: resource, relationships, experience accumulate in your hands rather than draining. Over a long enough run this is often the wealthiest kind of person. Blocked, keeping becomes stillness — missing the moment to enter for fear of losing, or valuing security over possibility until your capacity sits somewhere comfortable and low. Tian Fu's practice is deliberately doing one risky thing periodically: a storehouse with nothing moving through it isn't a storehouse.
