Misread as ominous. Qi Sha is the force that burns the way back. Doing it well or doing it rashly differs by one moment of thought.
Qi Sha is the general star — the one that charges. Its property is severance: cutting off the retreat, putting yourself where there's no way back, and going forward. That sounds rash and is in fact an effective strategy: people produce differently when there's no road behind them.
It shows up in you like this: you can't stand tepid, and you'd rather be wrong than slow; you make large decisions at a speed that unsettles the people near you; and you get clearer under pressure, steadier the messier it is.
Running well, Qi Sha is whoever actually dares: while everyone else is assessing the risk you're already inside, and a great many opportunities are taken exactly that way. Blocked, severance becomes destruction — cutting not only the retreat but the relationships and the room to return, so every time starts from zero. The tradition says Qi Sha does better meeting 祿存, a reserve. Practically: you need a floor. Savings, one stable relationship, somewhere to go back to. With a floor you're betting. Without one you're only being forced to.
