Ziwei Dou Shu (Purple Star Astrology) is a Chinese method that places fourteen main stars and many minor ones into twelve palaces using the lunar birth date and hour. Each palace covers an area of life, read for tendencies and ten-year phases.
The birthday is converted to the lunar calendar; birth month and hour set the Life Palace, the year stem sets the element bureau, and the lunar day places the Ziwei star. The year stem also assigns four transformations. GATSEE changes the year at Lunar New Year.
What it asks you for: date of birth, time of birth
Which stars sit in each of the twelve palaces, personality from the Life Palace, where the four transformations land, ten-year phases and yearly influences.
