正財 is what you control at the same polarity. Its difference from 偏財 is steadiness: one is money in motion and opportunistic, the other is fixed and predictable — salary, rent, long-standing clients.

Matching polarity means a gentler force in this system: not the strong pull between opposites but something continuous, slow and sustainable over a long run. That's what 正 means here — not more morally proper but more structurally stable.

The tradition also links 正財 to the wife and to practicality. The practical reading is keeping: someone with 正財 strong saves, counts accurately and doesn't spend loosely. The cost is occasional over-caution — seeing the opening and not moving. So what this box most wants beside it is the side that takes a risk.
