劫財 is the same element with opposite polarity. Its difference from 比肩 is subtle and decisive: 比肩 is someone like you, 劫財 is someone complementary — and complementary means what they want and what you want can be exchanged, and can also be taken.

The tradition treats it as harder than 比肩 because forces across opposite polarity are stronger. Opposites attract and opposites contend: collaboration is more efficient and conflict is harder to clean up. Most partnership disputes land in this box.

The practical reading is high-intensity relationship. Someone with 劫財 strong is never short of people or of incidents. The response isn't avoidance, it's putting the boundary in front: the closer the relationship, the more it needs to be in writing.
