Five Elements is the idea that things fall into wood, fire, earth, metal and water, related by cycles of generating and controlling. In a reading it shows how much of each your birth chart holds and whether today's element feeds or drains you.
It uses the BaZi chart: stems and branches count, with stems hidden in branches weighted by share, to give each element a percentage. The fixed generating and controlling cycles then compare today's day pillar with your day master.
What it asks you for: date of birth
Each element's share, the strongest and weakest, your day master's element, and whether today's element generates or controls you.
