The G centre sits in the middle of the chart and governs direction and identity — not adjectives about what sort of person you are, but which way and whether this is me. The tradition links it to love and to direction, and here those are one thing: you move towards what you love.

Filled means a built-in sense of direction; even unable to articulate it, you know whether something is right. Open means direction comes from environment — a different place or a different set of people shifts it, and that isn't having no position.

Running well, this is a person's core: someone who knows which way they're going finds everything less effortful. Blocked, a very specific anxiety appears — not knowing who you are or where you're headed. Most people respond by trying to think it out, and this centre doesn't run on thinking. It runs on position: change the place and the people, and the sense of direction returns by itself. Which is also why who you're with matters more to you than career planning does.
