The Reflector is the only type with all nine centres open, roughly one person in a hundred. Open doesn't mean empty; it means unfixed — those positions are variables in you, filled in by wherever you are. So you aren't a person with a certain personality so much as a very precise mirror: change the room and what's in the mirror changes, and nothing about the mirror is broken.
You'll recognise it here: the same question gets different answers from you in different settings, and every one of them was sincere at the time; you're sensitive to a group's atmosphere to the point of overload; with certain people you become a different person, for better and for worse.
Running well, you're the most accurate instrument in the room. You know whether a team is healthy before anyone else, because you are directly filled by that health or its absence. There's no substitute for that, and one condition on it: you have to be able to choose the room. For other types environment is background; for you it's content. When it's off, there's a disappointment that's hard to name — the sense of having no fixed self to return to. The traditional answer is to wait a month, let the moon go round once, let the same question pass through every different room before you answer it. That isn't delay. It's turning a mirror from a single-angle sample into a full circuit.
