The Manifestor is the only type that can start on its own, and the rarest. Those two facts are one fact: a population doesn't need many people who move without being moved. Your energy is pulsed rather than continuous — it comes in bursts you can't hold back and can't hold on to. That's why you can do what others can't and also need more rest than they do, and why the rest looks a lot like disappearing.
You'll recognise it here: you don't need motivation from anyone, you need them not to be in the way; being told 'let's discuss it first' produces a physical irritation; and you notice you often think about who to tell after the thing is already done.
Running well, you're the origin: without you a great deal simply doesn't happen. This type's real cost isn't in the doing, it's in friction — you move at a different speed, so your ordinary actions keep looking like unilateral ones. There's a disproportionately small fix: say it before you move. Not to ask permission, which you don't need, but to give people time to step aside. The tradition names anger as this type's signal, and that anger almost never comes from the task. It comes from being blocked — asked to explain, asked to wait, asked to build consensus first. Take the blocking away with one sentence in advance and you'll find you weren't that angry a person after all.
