Qimen Dunjiawhat is it?how it works, what it shows

Qimen Dunjia is a Chinese method that lays out a nine-palace board for a two-hour period, placing stars, doors, spirits and stems in each palace. It is used to see which directions and hours run smoother, and where you and your question stand right now.

How it is worked outQimen Dunjia

We use the hourly, rotating board with the chaibu method: the solar terms set yin or yang and the board number, the stems are laid on the earth plate, then the sky plate, doors and spirits turn with the hour. Clock time is used, not true solar time.

What it asks you for: no birth data, just a question

What it shows

Which directions the Open, Rest and Life doors face this hour, which palace holds you and which holds the matter, the patterns on the board, and roughly when things may move.
