What people get wrong

Called the best aspect. Conjunction isn't good or bad, it amplifies — and what it amplifies is whatever those two already were.

In depthconjunct

Aspects describe the angle between two bodies on the ecliptic rather than what either body is. It's the layer most often skipped and the one that best explains why two people with the same Venus are so unalike.

A conjunction is zero degrees: two bodies in the same place. Geometrically that means no distance, and no distance leaves no room to observe from — you can't easily see them apart, because in you they never were apart. So the mark of a conjunction isn't good or bad, it's fusion: two functions grown into one thing.

Which is also why a conjunction is the hardest aspect to notice in yourself. It feels like simply how things are, because you have no other version to compare against. Seeing it usually takes other people's reactions — whatever they find strange is often where your conjunction is.
