Informing before you move belongs to Manifestors, and it's the shortest and most underrated of the four. The reason isn't manners, it's a difference in speed: a Manifestor is the only type that can start on its own, so when it moves, everyone nearby is affected without warning.

The first reaction to being moved without warning is resistance, and that resistance is this type's largest lifetime cost — not that the work is hard, but that every attempt spends extra energy clearing what got in the way. The tradition names anger as the signal, and that anger comes from being blocked far more often than from the task rather than from the task.

So the function of the sentence is buying other people time. It doesn't change your decision and doesn't need their agreement; it just spares them having to react with resistance. One sentence for most of the friction is the best return of the four.
