Definition in Human Design is about which of your centres are fixed on and whether they connect to each other. The centres are nine energy hubs, the channels the lines between them; the planetary positions at your birth light certain gates, and a channel lit at both ends fixes two centres together. No definition means not one channel is connected — all nine centres open, which in Human Design happens only for Reflectors, about one person in a hundred.
Mechanically that means you have no fixed, same-every-day energy source of your own. Everything you feel comes from the environment you're in and the planets that day (the Moon above all). So when others find you hard to pin down, it's that what you're lit by changes daily.
Where you'll recognise it: you're a different person in a different place, acutely sensitive to a room's atmosphere, and unusually likely to decide wrongly when hurried. Running well, you're the most honest mirror there is: you reflect what a group is really like, and people see themselves through you. Stuck, the environment eats you — others' feelings taken as your own, too long in the wrong place. Giving yourself time is the only guardrail: the Moon's circuit takes twenty-eight days, and it's the one rhythm your body actually has.
