Ego authority comes from a defined heart centre connected directly to the throat. The heart governs promise and will, and that connection to the throat means something specific: your decision isn't thought, it's spoken — you know whether it's true at the moment you hear yourself say it.
You'll recognise it here: the version you say out loud often differs from the one in your head, and the spoken one is truer; things you agreed to and didn't want don't last, which isn't weak will but wrong fuel; and you need 'I want' to move at all, while 'I should' has almost no push in it.
Running well, this mechanism is very direct: what you want, you do, and more thoroughly than most. Blocked, the fault is putting should before want — driving yourself on duty, emptying out halfway, and concluding you weren't good enough. So the method is saying it aloud before you decide, and listening to your own tone. Your answer is in the tone, not in the analysis.
