丙 is the yang face of fire: the sun rather than a candle. Its nature is illumination rather than combustion — the sun doesn't lose anything by shining on someone, so its giving carries no sense of cost. Which explains the most misread thing about 丙: the warmth isn't in exchange for something, it's simply what's happening.
You'll recognise it here: rooms change when you enter and you're usually the last to notice; you speak directly because to you saying it clearly is the kindness; and you can't hide a mood — it's all on your face.
Running well, 丙 is what lights a group: morale, a sense of direction, the feeling that this might actually work, mostly arrived with you. Blocked, it goes two ways. One is shining on everything equally — full intensity where you should be conserving, then a sudden outage. The other is distortion under enforced restraint: kept low-key for long enough, 丙 turns irritable rather than dignified. So what 丙 needs isn't moderation. It's somewhere worth shining on, and accepting that you weren't built for low profile.
