Name Analysis 姓名學what is it?how it works, what it shows

Chinese name analysis is a method that counts the strokes of each character in a Chinese name, builds five numbers from them (the five grids), and reads them against a table of 81 numbers. It is used to look at the leanings a name suggests, family and social ties, and fit with your BaZi chart.

Each character is counted by Kangxi Dictionary strokes, with radicals restored and simplified characters converted first. Heaven is the surname plus one (single surname), Person is the last surname character plus the first given one, Earth is the given name, Total is everything, Outer is Heaven plus Earth minus Person.
